Discovering magical.vintage.wonderlands

On Saturday, I went to the most.amazing.store.ever.

Firstly, it's called Junk and Disorderly. I. Know.
Secondly, it's very similar to my old most.amazing.store.ever in Melbourne - Chapel St Bazaar - so as soon as I walked in I knew I'd fall madly in love.
Thirdly, it had taxidermy-ed ducklings. DUCKLINGS. (I am actually serious. I love weird taxidermy things, and these made me happy. Sorry if you're a vegetarian. Or just a normal human being who doesn't love dead things).

I madly started texting my housemate as soon as I saw these, as I knew she would hate me for walking out of the magical.wonderland empty-handed. Cue approx 20 texts back and forth trying to decide which one to get. I told her they were all staring at me, begging me to take them home. It was like a really disturbing version of the SPCA.

But, we chose this one. And his name is Theodore.

And, in other random news. (Since I uploaded all these photos from my phone at 6:15am this morning and didn't think I'd want to talk only about Junk and Disorderly in this post) Doesn't this little six year old have the best hair in the world? I get jealous every time I look at it. I PAY GOOD MONEY TO HAVE HAIR THAT BLONDE. She doesn't even have to try!!!

Decaf on the ferry on a hot night after a hot date.

Very random, and I'm sure this is really old. But how amazing is this for a movie poster? Perfect.

  1. Aw yes! Taxidermy ducklings, regretting my decision to not buy one while they were on sale even more now.

  2. Those ducklings are cute - even if the thought of taxidermy is a bit weird!
